South Pasadena ADU
This Accessory Dwelling Unit is an addition to an existing detached garage for a property in a designated Historic Neighborhood of South Pasadena. Its 880 sf (not including garage) comprises a large open floor plan with sleeping loft and added storage above the garage ceiling. This ADU had to maintain the look of the original Spanish Revival style existing main house and garage as well as accommodate already chosen and purchased kitchen and bathroom appliances and fixtures and select family heirloom furniture pieces and be respectful of the beautiful existing oak trees. The garage door, windows, and ironwork are all custom.
